CHEF JOEY MAGGIORE

As Chief Operating Officer and Executive Chef of The Maggiore Group, Chef Joey Maggiore brings both operational mastery and unique culinary creativity to each brand and concept. His innovative approach has led to the success of multiple award-winning restaurant concepts, including Hash Kitchen, The Sicilian Butcher, The Sicilian Baker, The Mexicano, The Italiano, and the newest concept, The Delicatessen—Arizona’s newest New York–style deli, which opened in September 2025. Additionally, his brands, Chef Joey Concepts & Brunch King, shape culture-driven dining experiences that fuse high-energy hospitality with over-the-top creativity—turning every meal into a moment and every concept into a movement.

Chef Joey grew up in the kitchen of his father’s acclaimed Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant, which opened in 1977 on Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor. There, at just six years old, he discovered his passion for food and began developing the culinary creativity that defines The Maggiore Group and its concepts today. Balancing authentic Italian tradition with bold innovation, Joey has built a portfolio of restaurants that deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

Chef Joey has also been honored with numerous awards, including Top Chef of the Year and Best Innovative Restaurant Concept (Arizona Restaurant Association), Breakout Brand recognition by Nation’s Restaurant News, and most recently, Best Chef – Best of Phoenix 2025. His leadership continues to guide national expansion of new Hash Kitchen locations in Texas and Utah, and The Sicilian Butcher locations in Texas and Nashville.

CRISTINA MAGGIORE

As Chief Financial Officer and the mind behind each Maggiore Group restaurant design, Cristina Maggiore is the backbone of both the business and the brand’s distinctive visual identity. While her financial expertise ensures stability and growth across all concepts, her creative vision shapes the atmosphere, aesthetic, and personality of every restaurant.

Cristina’s thoughtful eye for color, texture, and flow has become a signature element of the group’s success—transforming each dining room, bar, and patio into a space that feels both luxurious and inviting. She personally oversees each space—from concept development and layout to design details, décor, and ambiance—creating immersive environments that perfectly match Chef Joey’s culinary vision. Known as Joey’s “right hand” and biggest supporter, Cristina’s balance of creativity and discipline is one of The Maggiore Group’s greatest strengths.

Flora Tersigni, Chief Executive Officer and partner, leads the company’s corporate strategy, compliance, and executive operations. With a diverse background as an educator, entrepreneur, and international commercial broker, she ensures the company and all of its concepts run efficiently, strategically, and always with an eye on sustainable growth and national expansion.
